Reading of the holy gospel according to Saint John 14, 21-26
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
“Whoever accepts my commandments and keeps them, he loves me; whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will also love him and manifest myself to him.”
Judas told him, not Iscariot:
“Lord, what has happened that you reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”
Jesus answered and said to him:
“Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
Whoever does not love me will not keep my words. And the word you are hearing is not mine, but the Father who sent me.
I have spoken to you about this now that I am by your side, but the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, who will be sent by the Father in my name, will be the one who will teach you everything and remind you of everything I have told you».

Reading of the holy gospel according to Saint John 14, 27-31a
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
«Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world gives it. Let not your hearts be troubled or cowardly. You have heard me say: “I am leaving and I am coming back to you”. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is more than me. I have told you now, before it happens, so that when it happens you will believe.
I will no longer talk much with you, because the prince of the world is coming; It is not that he has power over me, but it is necessary that the world understand that I love the Father, and that, as the Father has ordered me, so I act».

Reading of the holy gospel according to Saint John 15, 1-8
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. He plucks every branch that does not bear fruit in me, and he prunes every branch that bears fruit, so that it bears more fruit.
You are already clean because of the word that I have spoken to you; Stay in me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, if it does not remain in the vine, so neither can you, if you do not remain in me.
I am the vine, you are the branches; whoever remains in me and I in him, he bears abundant fruit; because without me you can do nothing. Whoever does not abide in me is thrown away like a branch, and it dries up; then they pick them up and throw them into the fire, and they burn.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for what you want, and it will be done.
With this my Father receives glory, with which you bear abundant fruit; so you will be my disciples».
